Our Mission
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Our mission is rooted in the timeless Māori proverb, "He aha te mea nui o te ao? Māku e kii atu, He Tāngata, He Tāngata, He Tāngata - What is the most important thing in the world? Well, Let me tell you, it is people, it is people, it is people!" People are truly at the heart of everything we do.
We leverage our engineering expertise to empower our clients and their visions, acting as dedicated partners in achieving their goals. We are committed to providing cost-effective resilient solutions that protect and enhance the environment, knowing that our work makes a lasting positive impact.

WHO WE ARE
JULIAN BENITO - DIRECTOR AND LEAD ENGINEER
CPEng, CMEngNZ, IntPE(NZ), MEngSt (Earthquake), BE(Civil/Structural/Geotech)
As a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a recognized International Professional Engineer for the Asia-Pacific region (IntPE), I bring over 17 years of experience in structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering. Throughout my career, I've worked on projects ranging from small residential alterations to multi-billion dollar infrastructure ventures across New Zealand and around the world. This diverse exposure has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and practical tools, ready to be applied to your next project. My goal is to provide affordable designs while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Passionate about earthquake engineering, I relocated to New Zealand and Taupō 11 years ago. Since then, I've acquired extensive local knowledge and delivered hundreds of projects, including highly complex, independently peer-reviewed buildings of national significance. My dedication to the profession extends beyond my consulting work, as I currently serve on the New Zealand Society for Earthquake Engineering Management Committee, fostering the advancement of earthquake engineering in New Zealand alongside other industry leaders.
I'm always keen to help and I always enjoy talking about engineering. Feel free to reach out via our online form or call me directly to the numbers below.
